Anna and Craig both worked in catering for many years. They met by accident (literally, but that’s another story), got on like the proverbial house on fire, and then got married. Like a fairy tale so far?
After starting up their commercial catering business 3 years ago, the business has grown year on year. With regular business clients, one off events, weddings and catering for seminar venues, their business requires a lot of good time management and precise timing.
Wrong products at the wrong venue isn’t an option for Anna and Craig’s business. These are one off events in the clients eyes. Presenting a culinary spread at any event has an objective. It may be to appease the hungry, but it also adds an element of impression with a client. It’s so important to get it right, because getting wrong can leave a bitter taste (no pun intended).
Calling in SuperGeek to solve some internet problems was the catalyst to working with SG Corporate.
Because Craig and Anna’s business involves a huge amount of suppliers and the telephone was our normal way of communicating, we thought about how we could improve this service, make it more reliable and also save some time in the process.
George not only helped with the set up of a cloud based service, where our suppliers could download orders and communicate better with us, we found a perfect upgrade to our existing ordering system for our clients.
So now, clients can log-in and place orders, pay online, and receive updates automatically. It’s fantastic and its saved us a small fortune.
So what’s our next thing? Maybe we’ll be doing taster samples delivered by drones. Who knows!
